XICT welcomes new European service of MSC

¡¡¡¡July 3rd, Xiamen International Container Terminals (XICT) welcomed the maiden call of the MSC Pina, marking the commencement of the Silk service¡ªMSC's third European service to call at XICT. Composed of ten 9,178 TEU container vessels, the Silk service will boost MSC's shipping capacity to better meet the demands of booming trade between Southeast China and Europe.
¡¡¡¡Congratulating the successful inaugural voyage the new service, Raymond Chan, General Manager of XICT, commented, "Silk is the third service that MSC has launched at XICT. As such, it shows MSC's confidence in our terminal facilities and services. With a quay length of 1,083 m and a depth alongside of 17.5 m, XICT is one of the best-equipped terminals in Southeast China. " SILK ships call at XICT every Thursday and follow a port rotation of Antwerp, Jebel Ali, Singapore, Hong Kong, Xingang, Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Singapore, Salalah, Oman, Valencia, Felixstowe, Rotterdam and Antwerp.
