¡¡¡¡June 11th, MOT Minister Li Shenglin and a delegation inspected COSCO. Wei Jiafu, President of COSCO, and Party Secretary Zhang Fusheng reported to Li Shenglin in terms of COSCO's latest business and management, its measures to cope with the financial crisis, as well as plans for the next step, also expressing gratitude for substantial support from MOT.

¡¡¡¡June 16th, Ministry of Transport (MOT) held a research review for two programs promoting the development of an integrated transport system and promotion of modern logistics, officially launching both programs. MOT Minister Li Shenglin emphasized that implementation of these two programs is required by the national development strategy, being an essential part of the Government's administrative reforms, a vital step to speed up the development of the modern transport industry, a key point to practice evidence-based development strategies and also a necessary step in the face of the financial crisis to accelerate industry upgrades.
