¡¡¡¡From Aug 31 to Sep 2, the 13th meeting of ocean transportation, river transportation, motor vehicle transportation and road working groups of Transportation Coordination Sub-committee of China-Russia Premiers Regular Meeting Committee was held in Beijing. Feng Zhenglin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Transport of PRC and a Vice Minister of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation jointly signed the meeting protocol.
¡¡¡¡The two Parties deeply exchanged opinions on the 16 topics. It was agreed that the drafts of the two Memorandums of Understanding for the Security of Marine Navigation and Ocean Environment Protection would be further studied and plan to sign within short time and the drafting of the two Memorandums of Understanding for the Security of Navigation in the China-Russia Boundary River and Prevention of Ship Pollution will initiate at proper time.
¡¡¡¡Both Parties indicated that there are still deficiencies in cooperation in terms of convenient port facilitation and construction of transportation infrastructure.
